Caption Desk generates IPTC metadata for press photography, including titles, descriptions, keywords, and other structured fields. It helps you prepare photo deliverables faster while keeping every field editable before export.
Do I keep editorial control before export?
Yes. You review, edit, and approve the result before anything is exported. Caption Desk helps accelerate metadata work, but final editorial control stays with you.
Can I work one photo at a time or by series?
Yes. You can work on single photos or process a full series with shared context, then adjust each image as needed before export.
Is face recognition available in Photo and Series mode?
The purpose of face recognition is to detect whether the same person appears across multiple photos in a series, so you don’t have to name them repeatedly. It is therefore not useful in Photo mode, since there is only a single image.
How does Caption Desk handle my data?
Caption Desk does not retain uploaded photos, generated metadata, or temporary processing data beyond 24 hours. Face recognition data is deleted as soon as identity matching is complete. Your content is never used to train models. Only the account and profile information required to provide the service is stored.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Caption Desk is offered as a monthly subscription with no long-term commitment. You can cancel at any time.
What happens to unused monthly capacity?
